So, did you think I'd show you a shot of Half Dome or El Capitan? Buzz, wrong. I mean yeah, they are great rocks, but everyone has seen pictures of those.
I mean, if you are an aspiring Ansel Adams wannabee, then just go to Yosemite valley and take some pictures of Half Dome. They'd look great even if you're a crappy amateur like me, because the rocks are just so amazing!
So here is a shot of some needle-like thingy that probably hasn't even got it's own name and gets way too little attention since it's just opposite of El Capitan. Notice how expertly I framed it between those two trees and the meadow in front? Maybe I'm not such an amateur after all (should I start selling posters in black and white?).
